Abstract

Бленда Н.О. Оцінка сучасного стану продовольчого ринку України. В статті досліджено сучасний стан продовольчого ринку України та визначено тенденції його розвитку. Розглянуто особливості формування продовольчого ринку України, проведено аналіз аграрної сфери виробництва як базового чинника формування продовольчого ринку, визначено тенденції виробництва продукції харчової промисловості та окреслено шляхи розвитку ринку для покращення забезпечення населення продовольством.

Рассмотрены особенности формирования продовольственного рынка Украины, проведен анализ аграрной сферы производства как базового фактора формирования продовольственного рынка, определены тенденции производства продукции пищевой промышленности и намечены пути развития рынка для улучшения обеспечения населения продовольствием.

Blenda N.A. Assessment of the current state of the Ukrainian food market. Despite the increase in gross output in the agricultural sector and the improvement of food self-sufficiency, the problem of food security for the population is still unsolved. The development of the food market and economy is generally constrained by the mismatch between levels of food production and consumption, and the low purchasing power of the population. In the context of changes in agricultural production, the decline in production of milk and dairy products by the food industry, as well as sugar is forecast. However, the decrease in the production of bread and bakery products, flour and pasta is against the background of increased production of cereals and legumes. This situation indicates a decrease in the volume of grain sales to processing plants and an increase in the share of grain sales through other channels, including exports. There is a tendency in Ukraine to reduce the consumption of certain foods by the population. Compared to 2014, the internal market capacity of most food groups, such as grain, potatoes, sugar and milk and dairy products, decreased in 2018. At the same time, the increase in the volume of gross agricultural production provided an improvement in the level of food self-sufficiency in Ukraine. Effective development of the food market, which will ensure the balance of supply and demand and meet the needs of the population for quality food, should be combined with the laws of a market economy, appropriate government and raising the standard of living.
