Дослідження швидкості сполучення на маршрутах міста Харкова та області

Abstract

Отримані експериментальні значення швидкості сполучення для двох маршрутів, в межах міста Харків та у приміській зоні. Досліджено вплив обмежень швидкості руху на значення швидкості сполучення.

Improving the efficiency and road safety in Ukraine possible only due to implementation of effective of traffic speed management. Traffic speed limit on the road can improve road safety, but leads to increased travel time. With the purpose of establishment of influence of limitations of speed on speed of report an experiment was conducted. Researches consisted in a supervision as a result of journeys of passenger car on two routes. The first route long 19 kilometres lay from outskirts in the center of city of Kharkiv. The second route long 25,5 kilometres lay from a suburban settlement to the outskirts of city. Motion of car took place in two modes, with the observance of the set limitations of speed and with exceeding of the set limits on 20 kilometres per hour (within the limits of tolerance). Speed of report settled accounts for every journey. In all 13 journeys were conducted on the first route and 18 - on the second. On the first route an overspeed on 20 kilometres per hour resulted in the increase of speed of report on the average from 28 to 34 kilometres per hour. On the second route it brought to the increase of speed of report from 62 a to 76 kilometres per hour. Nevertheless by character, an overspeed on 20 kilometres per hour results in the insignificant increase of speed of report, especially in a city.
