Analysis of the insurance services market of Ukraine: formation, problems and prospects

Abstract

The key element of the national economy of any country is the insurance market. With the strengthening of the openness of the Ukrainian economy to the international economic space, the issues of competitiveness of the insurance market and reforming the insurance industry are becoming increasingly important. However, due to the protracted financial crisis, the continuation of the military conflict, and due to underestimation of the social role that insurance should play, the level of its development in Ukraine today does not meet the growing needs of the national economy and social reforms.
