dc.description.abstract	Summary. With this method of surfacing, a liquid additive material is supplied in portions or continuously to the slag bath located in the current-driven crystallizer. The design of the crystallizer is the same as when using granular filler material. In some cases, not one, but several current leads to the current-leading section of the crystallizer can be used to equalize the electric potentials around the perimeter of the crystallizer in order to obtain a more uniform thermal field in the slag bath	uk_UA
