Women’s influence economic development of high and middleincome countries

Abstract

The scientific literature highlights the fundamental role that women can play in economic growth. However, up to today, a relatively limited number of studies have been conducted on the issue of gender and development. In deeper, questions persist about the full potential of women to affect the economic growth of a country. To investigate this question, we conduct an econometric analysis, by studying how the presence of women impact on the development of high and middle income countries over the five-year period 201–2019. The findings demonstrate that there is evidence of an association between femininity and economic growth. The script consists of more sections. Firstly, we proceed to introduce and contextualize the subject-matter. Secondly, we are interested in starting studies, unsolved problems, objectives to be pursued, and the relevance of the results to be obtained. Thereafter, we are dedicated to the research description in terms of methods and measures. In the end, we expose the obtained results and discuss them.

У науковій літературі підкреслюється важлива роль, яку жінки відіграють в глобальному економічному зростанні. Однак дотепер було проведено не велику кількість досліджень із гендерних питань і соціальноекономічного розвитку в їх взаємозв’язку і взаємовпливі. Слабо досліджені питання використання потенціалу жінок в економічному зростанні. Щоб дослідити це, ми провели економетричний аналіз, вивчивши, як залученість жінок в економіку впливає на розвиток країн із високим і середнім рівнем доходів за період 2015–2019 років. Результати дослідження показують, що є зв’язок між ступенем залученості жінок в економіку й економічним зростанням. Подано опис проблеми дослідження та її контекстуалізацію. Проаналізовано стан наукових досліджень цього питання, невирішені проблеми; сформульовано цілі; обґрунтовано достовірність отриманих результатів. Описано методи дослідження, обговорено отримані результати, подано основні висновки.
