Abstract

Розглянуто основні сучасні наукові підходи до розуміння феномену «нація»: конструктивістський (який зосереджується на соціальних та культурних факторах, що дозволяє розглядати націю та її ідентичність як соціальну конструкцію), есенціалістський (згідно якого нація є об'єктивною реальністю, що має визначені біологічні, генетичні та історичні характеристики) та синтетичний (де національна ідентичність розглядається як результат взаємодії соціально-культурних та біологічних факторів). Наголошується на важливості вивчення взаємодії різних факторів, які впливають на формування національної ідентичності, включаючи культурні, історичні, економічні та політичні аспекти.

The main modern scientific approaches to the understanding of the "nation" phenomenon are considered: constructivist (which focuses on social and cultural factors, which allows considering the nation and its identity as a social construction), essentialist (according to which the nation is an objective reality that has certain biological, genetic and historical characteristics) and synthetic (where national identity is considered as the result of the interaction of socio-cultural and biological factors). It emphasizes the importance of studying the interaction of various factors that influence the formation of national identity, including cultural, historical, economic and political aspects.
