Abstract

As it was marked in the first report, entomological fauna of Ukraine have been investigated enough. As a result of our researches were found 19 species of beetles which turned out new for the fauna of Ukraine, and for 22 species areas has been exacted essentially for their spreading. Ecological characteristic has been given to each species. From Mountain Crimea has described species new to a science – Octotemnus rugosopunctatus sp. nov. (Ciidae), which to be intimate with Octotemnus glabriculus (Gyll.). From it new species differs transversal wrinkles in a forward part of an elytral disk, presence of denticles at the basis of claws and structure of genitals of male. The new species is connected to the deciduous and mixed forests, meeting up to height of 1000 m. Develops in dead and old fruiting bodies Trametes suaveolens, T. versicolor, T. gibbosa, T. pubescens, Cerrena unicolor growing on dead and fall trees of deciduous breeds. Probably, this species is the vicariate of the O. glabriculus in mountains of Crimea. The keys for identification of species of genus Octotemnus Mell. and Dacne Latr. is given.
