Abstract: As a result of the research, it was found that today there are several characteristic general directions of development of modern financial innovations in Ukraine: securitization; liberalization of financial markets; globalization of financial markets; digitization. All these directions have internal interrelationships, and in the process of development of one of them in the national economy, the development of the others is necessarily taking place. The experience of Poland regarding the introduction and spread of innovations in the agricultural sector has been analyzed, the main common problems for agrarian financial innovations of Ukraine and Poland have been identified. Barriers to the development of financial innovations in the agricultural economy of Ukraine have been researched and identified, as well as their own comments and suggestions regarding the development of financial innovations in the agricultural sector have been formulated.
