Статья посвящена актуальным вопросам определения тенденций развития предпринимательства в Харьковской области. Приведен анализ современного состояния предпринимательской деятельности в Харьковской области. Приведены основные проблемы и препятствия, существующие на пути развития предпринимательства в области. По показателям государственной статистики представлена общая характеристика предприятий в Харьковской области с 2015 до 2019 гг. По показателям количества предприятий, количества занятых работников и объемам реализованной продукции с выделением деятельности предприятий и оценкой их доли в общих уровнях. Также приведена характеристика физических лиц-предпринимателей. Проведенный статистико-экономический анализ структуры малых предприятий по видам экономической деятельности по показателям количества зарегистрированных предприятий и объемам реализованной продукции

Today the development of entrepreneurship is one of the most important factors of socio-economic growth of the Kharkiv region. Effective development of entrepreneurship creates a competitive environment for business entities of various economic activities for the development of which there are favourable conditions and resource potential, the interest of foreign and domestic investors. At the same time, the successful operation of entrepreneurship solves a number of important tasks, in particular, contributes to budget replenishment, a saturation of the consumer market with goods and services, creates new jobs, increases employment while reducing unemployment. The article is devoted to topical issues of determining trends in entrepreneurship in the Kharkiv region. An analysis of the current state of entrepreneurial activity in the Kharkiv region is given. The main problems and obstacles that exist in the development of entrepreneurship in the region are presented. According to the state statistics, the general characteristics of enterprises in the Kharkiv region from 2015 to 2019 are given according to the indicators of the number of enterprises, the number of employees and the volume of sold products with the allocation of enterprises and assessment of their share in general levels. The characteristics of the activity of natural persons-entrepreneurs are also given. The statistical and economic analysis of the structure of small enterprises by types of economic activity by indicators of the number of registered enterprises and the volume of sold products Creating a favourable business climate in the Kharkiv region is one of the main tasks of Kharkiv regional state administration, which constantly requires improvement of management functions and coordination of joint actions of local executive bodies and local governments on the implementation of state policy in the field of entrepreneurship at the regional level.
