Abstract

Загородня Ю.В. Підвищення конкурентоспроможності портів України шляхом вдосконалення тарифної політики. У статті визначено актуальні проблеми підвищення конкурентоспроможності морських портів України шляхом розробки оптимальних варіантів вдосконалення тарифної політики. Проаналізовано основні фактори, що впливають на конкурентоспроможність вітчизняних портів в порівнянні з закордонними та запропоновано умови для створення конкурентного середовища морських портів України. Проведено аналіз діючої тарифної політики вітчизняних портів з визначенням позитивних і негативних сторін.

В статье определены актуальные проблемы повышения конкурентоспособности морских портов Украины путем разработки оптимальных путей совершенствования тарифной политики. Проанализированы основные факторы, влияющие на конкурентоспособность отечественных портов в сравнении с заграничными и предложены условия для создания конкурентной среды морских портов Украины. Проведен анализ действующей тарифной политики отечественных портов с определением положительных и отрицательных сторон.

Y.V. Zahorodnia. Improvement of tariff policy for increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian ports. Introduction. Currently, there is a need to improve the tariff policy of the seaports of Ukraine. This contributes to the integration of Ukraine into the European Union due to the increase in foreign trade operations, which will lead to the growth of the country's economy and help attract foreign investment. Purpose. The purpose of the work is to study the actual problem of the effectiveness of the existing tariff policy in the ports of Ukraine; the impact of tariff policy on the competitiveness of domestic ports in international trade; finding the best options for tariff policy in the conditions of the world maritime market. Methods. The following methods were used to solve the problem: theoretical generalization; method of systematization; graphic method. Results. Мodern current problems in tariff policy of ports of Ukraine are presented and the optimal ways of their solution are found. The main factors of decrease of competitiveness of domestic ports are determined. Conditions for creating a competitive environment of ports of Ukraine are considered and an analysis of possible types of tariff policy of domestic ports with the separation of positive and negative sides of each type is carried out. Originality. The need to improve the tariff policy of the ports of Ukraine is due to the decline in cargo traffic by sea, and consequently the decline in the competitiveness of domestic ports. It is proposed to create new rational approaches to the development of the tariff system for the ports of Ukraine, taking into account international experience. Conclusion. the analysis of the efficiency of the existing tariff policy in the ports of Ukraine showed a significant lagging behind the foreign ports. The proposed optimal variants of tariff policy in the conditions of the world maritime market will partially solve the problem of imbalance of port tariffs, in particular port fees, which will positively affect the attractiveness of Ukrainian ports, increase their competitiveness and create additional financial opportunities for improving the quality of service, attracting new customers and preserving the permanent ones.
