Харків в роки Першої світової війни

Abstract

У статті розглянуто становище м. Харкова під час Першої світової війни. Коли патріотичний підйом початку війни змінився розчаруванням широких верств суспільства. Це було пов`язано з невдачами на фронті, наростанням соціально-економічних труднощів в тилу. На прикладі Харкова, крупного промислового, культурного, наукового центру, можна побачити з якими труднощами зіткнулась країна в цілому. Зростання цін на продукти харчування, медикаменти, паливо, житло, великий потік біженців, збільшення безробіття. Незадоволення діями як центральної так і місцевої влади. В цілому загострення соціально-економічної та політичної кризи і як наслідок Лютнева революція 1917 року.
