| Abstract: | Movements of Polistes dominulus and P. nimpha females were observed in the spring of 1993. Some females move to a nearby nest (empty or with a queen) after abandoning their original nest. This process was rare in other years. The assumed role of female movements in Polistes population dynamics is discussed. |
