| Abstract: | For the first time the head and the mouth system of 77 Muscidae, Calliphoridae and Tachinidae species were examined morphometrically with the help of the analyzer of images. 12 о! the 40 measured parameters were chosen аs the most important for the evaluation of functional activity of filtration zone of the oral disk оf different morphological types оf Muscomorpha proboscis. The new parameter of its filtration ability - pseudotracheal volume of the oral disk - was offered. |
