Pasemko G.P., Baga L.G. Organic production as a prospect for the development of the agricultural sector of the economy. The main problems of modern food security in the scale of the world economy are described in the article and the characteristic of organic production of agricultural products is given. The dualistic contradiction of the problem of hunger and the problem of organic farming were evaluated. The specifics of organic production are described and opportunities for development of this form of production for the Ukrainian economy are evaluated. Assessing the trends in the world organic production, it is worth noting its constant growth. Organic production options are also agan-biological and biodynamic agriculture. We consider organic farming to be the main development of the agricultural market in Ukraine within the world economy. The first steps have already been taken to establish this form of national agricultural production. In the process of growing and processing agricultural products, only ecological methods, principles and rules are applied, which guarantees the receipt of natural (environmentally friendly) products, as well as the conservation and restoration of natural resources. The specificity of the organization of organic in the rejection of chemicals, the rational use of natural processes and the redistribution of natural resources in production. The combination of crop and animal husbandry becomes the basis for restoring fertile land and producing environmentally friendly food. At the same time as there are significant prospects for the development of organic production in national food security and the growth of competitive export potential, as well as the preservation and restoration of environmental characteristics of the environment, there are significant barriers to this type of economy in Ukraine. The main problem with the development of organic production is that it requires significant costs in the organization and production process, while most Ukrainian producers, first of all, agricultural corporations, focus on the principle of minimum costs - maximum profit, provided by conventional agricultural production. And while some corporations are starting to pay attention to the opportunities for organic production, most of them remain focused on short-term strategies for profiting from the most profitable crops. Due to the low solvency of the local population, most organic agricultural producers are oriented towards the foreign market, which also has access to a number of legal, economic and economic circumstances. The problem is also the low level of environmental awareness of most agricultural producers, their low level of awareness about the opportunities to profit from organic production, the lack of production of ecological culture, the lack of special environmental oriented education.
