Обґрунтовано позитивні риси віртуального туризму. Запропоновано список некомерційних сервісів для віртуальних подорожей. Представлено сім кращих додатків для віртуальних подорожей.

The aim of the article is to monitor the guidelines for the development of virtual tourism in conditions of global economic turbulence. Presenting main material. The development of tourism is affected by changes in the economy, technology, social life. Modern technologies and activities do not use the mass nature of labor (as it was 100 years ago), but more individualized labor. The rapid pace of life and activity in the last 20-25 years, monotony (home-work-home) have a negative impact on people. Therefore, the active nature of the holiday becomes not a luxury but a necessity. In some countries (Japan, China, Germany) travel is financially encouraged by the government. Tourism in modern conditions causes a contrasting change of monotonous life, with its nervous tension and monotony. These factors explain the demand for new experiences that can realize different types of tourism. It is determined that the modern tourism is a developed service sector. It is shown that digitalization has changed the development opportunities of the tourism industry and is especially relevant for the tourism infrastructure. The definition of virtual tourism is provided. The advantages of virtual tourism are substantiated.
