Abstract

Бленда Н.О. Сучасний стан та розвиток продовольчого комплексу України. В статті досліджено сучасний стан та розвиток продовольчого комплексу. Визначено місце сільського господарства у системі агропромислового виробництва. Оцінено стан виробництва та споживання продуктів харчування, рівень забезпечення потреб населення основними видами продовольчої продукції та встановлено групи продовольства, які Україні необхідно імпортувати. Проаналізовано причини недостатнього споживання продуктів харчування в Україні.

Определено место сельского хозяйства в системе агропромышленного производства. Оценено состояние производства и потребления продуктов питания, уровень обеспечения потребностей населения основными видами продовольственной продукции и установлено группы продовольствия, которые Украине необходимо импортировать. Проанализированы причины недостаточного потребления продуктов питания в Украине.

Blenda N.A. Current state and development of Ukraine's food complex. In the article the modern state and development of the food complex was researched. The maintenance of food, economic and ecological safety of Ukraine depends on its stable development and effective functioning. The researches show that with a help of the influence of the transformation of the economy there were significant changes in the structure of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, which affected its basic component - agriculture the most negatively. Growth amount of the gross domestic product has improved the level of self-sufficiency in food products in Ukraine. The potential of Ukrainian agrarian production sector exceeds the needs of the domestic market significantly, which should contribute to the development of the national economy and increase the export capacity of the country. Nowadays, Ukraine's food market is functioning in conditions of low demand of the overwhelming majority of the population for almost all food products, except bread products, potatoes and vegetables. The level of consumption of important products for the human body, such as meat, milk, fish, fruits and berries, having a general tendency to increase, does not provide not only the achievement of the rational physiological norms of consumption, but even the minimal ones included in the food consumer basket. The main determinant of an insufficient consumption of certain food is the decline of real incomes. Solvency demand is an important component, which is the basis of the formation of the food market's capacity. Inconsistencies of levels of production and consumption of goods, low purchasing power of the population restrain the development of production and the economy as a whole. The effective functioning of the food complex should be ensured by the optimal combination of market-based management practices with the state regulation of the most important economic and social problems. At the same time, its further development is closely linked with the adaptation of the reformed agricultural companies to the market environment, the complex solution of the problems of the development of industries, especially livestock, increasing competitiveness, improving infrastructure and mechanisms.
