У статті досліджено питання оцінки природно-рекреаційного потенціалу Харківської області. Проведено групування районів області з урахуванням наявності природних об’єктів, що можуть становити цікавість для туристів і сприяти розвитку сільського та сільського зеленого туризму в Харківській області.

D.O. Goptsiy, T.G. Tkachenko, O. Krasovska. The Assessment of the Natural and Recreational Potential of Kharkiv Region for the Purposes of Rural and Rural Green Tourism Development. The issues of assessment of the natural and recreational potential of Kharkiv region are investigated in the article. In order to analyze the natural and recreational potential of each district of Kharkiv region, point assessment of their tourist attractiveness on a scale from 1 to 4, where "1" corresponds to low, and "4" to a high level of tourist attractiveness was conducted. Grouping of the districts of the region was conducted taking into account the presence of the natural objects that could be of interest to tourists and promote development of rural and rural green tourism in Kharkiv region. According to the results of the carried out calculations, 27 districts of Kharkiv region were united into four groups. To the first group with a low point of tourist attractiveness which was "1" got 10 districts: Barvinkove, Blizniuky, Zachepilivka, Zolochiv, Kehychivka, Kolomak, Krasnohrad, Nova Vodolaha, Sakhnovshchyna, and Shevchenkovo. To the second group with the point "2" got 8 districts: Bohoduhiv, Valky, Derhachi, Kupiansk, Lozova, Pervomaisk, Kharkiv, Chuhuiev. To the third group, with the point "3", there were 7 districts: Balakliia, Borova, Velykii Burluk, Vovchansk, Izium, Krasnokutsk, Pechenihy. To the fourth group with the highest point of tourist attraction, which was "4", there were only two districts: Zmiiv and Dvorichansk. Thus, the most attractive tourist districts are concentrated in the north and east of Kharkiv region. The carried out calculations are only the first attempt to explore the natural and recreational potential of Kharkiv region. They give a general idea of the tourist attractiveness of the districts of Kharkiv region. More precise results can be obtained only by assessing the ecological status of the objects of the nature reserve fund and observance of the nature protection regimes on their territory. A separate study also requires the availability to the objects of natural reserve fund from individual rural settlements. But now it is possible to state that Kharkiv region has the natural and recreational potential for the development of rural and rural green tourism.
