Спеціалізовані засоби розміщення в контексті сталого розвитку України

Abstract

Досліджено сучасний стан розвитку санаторно-курортного комплексу, який відіграє важливу роль не лише як складова соціальної політики, спрямована на зміцнення здоров’я людей, але і як чинник економічного розвитку країни, адже курортний бізнес – один із найприбутковіших секторів індустрії туризму. Сьогодні успішний розвиток спеціалізованих засобів розміщення стикається з низкою перешкод. Далеко не повною мірою реалізуються потенційні можливості України щодо розвитку мережі цих закладів. Для ширшого залучення туристів необхідна відбудова та переоснащення існуючих засобів розміщення, приведення їх у відповідність до вимог міжнародних європейських стандартів.

The development of the sanatorium complex plays an important role not only as a component of social policy aimed at promoting health, but also as a factor in the economic development of the country, because the resort business is one of the most profitable sectors of the tourism industry. Among all categories of tourists, those who travel for leisure, rest and wellness prevail. Statistics show that the number of tourists, both foreign and domestic, tends to increase. An integral part of the successful development of tourism is the network of modern collective accommodation facilities. To date, there is a certain imbalance between the increase in the flow of tourists aiming at recreation and recreation, including with children, and a decrease in the number of specialized accommodation facilities and places. So far, this imbalance is small, but every year it becomes more noticeable. The vast majority of tourists staying in specialized accommodation facilities were located on recreation facilities and in health resorts. Demand for specialized placement services, where health and wellness services are available, is increasing and the need for placements is increasing. Health tourism is one of the most sustainable tourism markets in Ukraine and priority areas, but it most needs support and coordinated development. To date, successful development of the specialized placement facilities is fraught with obstacles. The potential of Ukraine to develop the network of these institutions is not fully realized. Broader attraction of tourists requires rebuilding and retrofitting existing accommodation facilities and adapting them to the requirements of international European standards. Ukraine is only at the beginning of the path of inclusive or barrier-free tourism. With the improved accommodation conditions for people with disabilities, there is a prospect of 15 percent increase in the number of tourists, as in most cases they travel with accompanying people. Another obstacle to the development of the specialized placement facilities is poor quality of services and the level of customer service; an extremely small number of competent management and service professionals. In the near future, more attention will have to be paid to the harmonization of national standards with European standards and improvement of services quality.
