У статті досліджено стан та тенденції виробництва зерна. Визначено місце зернових культур в площі посівних культур країни. Наведені умови зростанні економічної ефективності агрокомплексу, визначені проблеми галузі та надана оцінка його конкурентних позиції на світовому ринку зерна.

В статье исследовано состояние и тенденции производства зерна. Определено место зерновых культур в площади посевных культур страны. Приведенные условия росте экономической эффективности агрокомплекса, определенные проблемы отрасли и дана оценка его конкурентных позиции на мировом рынке зерна.

Drushliak I.M. The state of grain production, as a priority sector in increasing the economic efficiency of agro complex and assessing its competitive position. The problem of increasing the efficiency of agricultural production is a determining factor in the economic and social development of society. The efficiency of production as an economic category reflects the effect of objective economic laws, which manifests itself in the productivity of production. It is the form in which the goal of social production is realized. The successful functioning of agriculture, as the world practice shows, can be achieved if the industry operates on a market-based basis with state support. One of the difficult tasks is to increase the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, which remains one of the low-performing sectors of the economy. Therefore, improvement of their use is one of the most important tasks, the solution of which will help to increase the efficiency of agricultural production. The aim of the article is to determine the state and trends of grain production. To determine the place of grain crops in the area of sowing crops in the present. To provide conditions for the growth of the economic efficiency of the agro complex, taking into account the problems of the industry and assess its competitive position in the global grain market. Grain production in Ukraine traditionally belongs to the strategic branches of development not only of agriculture but of the entire national economic complex of the country. All this is conditioned by the presence of favorable soil and climatic conditions for the cultivation of grain and leguminous crops, favorable economic and political position of Ukraine on the European continent. The reserves of the growth of the efficiency of the grain industry are increasing the productivity and improving the organization of the grain market.
