The modern level and quality of life were investigated, the main directions of improvement of the economic situation in Ukraine were determined. The present changes in the development of modern Ukrainian society require positive changes in the development of the national economy and the search for effective methods for raising the level and quality of life of the population. If we analyze the current situation regarding the quality of working life of domestic workers, then practically all indicators do not meet the requirements. Confirmation of this, firstly, is that one of the main prerequisites for the proper quality of working life a fair remuneration for work does not meet the world standards and can not provide the proper level of development of society. In accordance with the European Social Charter, the poverty line is per capita income below 60% of the median wage. One of the priorities in improving the quality of working life in Ukraine today is the problem of wage reform, which will prevent and prevent the loss of the most productive labor force of active working age. An important economic basis for the process of improving the quality of working life is the regulatory influence of the state, which is carried out in different directions. These are the components of state regulation: employment policy, as well as social, gender, fiscal, science and education policies, which use levers of direct or indirect influence on the development of the domestic labor market. The quality of working life can be improved by reducing any organizational parameters affecting people. This includes decentralization of power, participation in managerial decision-making processes, training and training of management personnel, promotion programs, etc. All these activities are aimed at giving employees additional opportunities to meet their personal needs while improving the organization's performance. Therefore, the introduction of rational socio-economic policies, conducting sound financial and credit policies, strategic development of scientific and technical and production spheres at all levels is the basis for ensuring a decent level of quality in the country's working life of the population as a whole.
