| Abstract: | Field studies conducted in Kherson region, Ukraine, on vespid wasps of the genus Polistes showed similarity in the structure of their habitats. Principal structural parts of a habitat are: the nest; water, nectar, prey and pulp collecting sites; copulating and wintering sites. Some features characterizing the system of social organization of Polistes species have been identified. |
