| Abstract: | The work is a first review of rhopalocerous butterflies of the Donetsk region based on literary data, museum and personal collections, and also on large authors' material. Out of the 129 known species of Hesperioidea and Papilionoidea, 25 species are newly recorded for the region. Information on each species includes references, new localities, biotopes, abundance and brief life-history data. Rare and interesting species are provided with label data. |
