| Abstract: | The effects of He-Ne laser irradiation on reproduction end embryonic viability of inbred Drosophila melanogaster lines have been investigated. Laser irradiation treatment has not been found to deacrease the number of eggs layed by females. iThe increase of undeveloped embryons took place only in case of 1 and 10 minute irradiation. The data obtained allows to consider the priviously observed changes of Drosophila melanogaster reproductive ability and viability after laser irradiation to be caused by laser effects on physiological peculiarities of inbred flies. |
