Изучение фауны ногохвосток (Collembola, Entognatha) в лесных ценозах Левобережной Украины

Abstract

The article presents an original and literature reports on the fauna of the Collembola in the forest regions of the Left Bank Ukraine. About 75 species of 44 genera and 14 families were found in that area. The families IsoTomidae, Entomobryidae, Onychiuridae and Neanuridae appeared to be the richest in species found in those regions. Along with this fact, the number of aridophilic families slightly exceeds that of the humidophilic families. For the first time, the presence of 6 species of Collembola was registered in the Territory of Ukraine, and 5 species were found on the left bank of the Dnieper. To the specific singularities of the fauna of the Collembola on the forest regions of the left-bank area we refer the presence of species of flat landscapes. Apart from this, some «forest» species were found in zonal steppe regions.
