| dc.description.abstract | By means of quantitative histochemical technique (cytophotometry) the dynamics of nonspecific phosphatases activity was determined in Malpighian tubules, fat body and reproductive sestem of a blackfly, Wilhelmia salopiensis Edw., in preimaginal phases. The obtained data showed the enzymes fulfil а wide range of physiological function directly related to organogenesis, cellular differentiation, and metamorphosis. Ability of the blackfly males to couple right after emerging іs owing to more intensive metabolism in testicles during the larval development. | - |
