| Abstract: | The description of Aphodius (Agolius) mixtus Villa, 1833 larvae of elder (presumably the third) and the first age from the mountain ridge of Chernogora of the Ukrainian Carpathians is given. The most prominent age changes of the larvae morphology are indicated. For laying eggs fecundated females bury themselves not deeply into the soil. The larvae are developing in the soil on the polonines (Alpine pastures) feeding on humus and perhaps vegetation remainders. |
