| Abstract: | The present paper dwells upon the effeots об different methods об soil ocultivetion on the number and harmfulness of wireworms in conditions об partially-wooded steppe districts of Ukraine. The results presented testify that the main methods of soil cultivation do not affect considerebly the density of click-beetle larvae pcpulation, causing а mere variation of the rate of vertioal migration. It is the soil oultivation carried out during the period of mass egg-laying of Agriotes sputator. that causes eges destruction due to drying up of the soil upper layer. |
