| Abstract: | Application of nich. concept in investigations of insect populations is discussed. It іs - proposed tо consider niche as a set of partial niches in accordance with the ontogenetic structure of individuzls ecological activity. This structure is assumed to bе full in the sense of resources or fitness balances and bе suitable for the needs of concrete research. In field investigations іi is proposed to concentrate attention on the population distribution between ecologically homogeneous patches of environment. |
