В реалиях современной экономики ведущая роль принадлежит инновационной деятельности, которая предполагает внедрение и коммерциализацию передовых технологий, освоение новых рынков, генерирование знаний и эффективное использование человеческого капитала. В статье определены теоретические основы стратегирования развития сельскохозяйственной отрасли с ключевой инновационной компонентой потенциальной эффективности от ее долгосрочной реализации, которая будет отвечать интересам всех групп агентов (индивидуальным, общественным, корпоративным) и национальным интересам. Despite the existence of an agricultural development strategy for 2015-2020, there is no specialized strategy for long-term development of the agricultural sector in Ukraine. This makes it difficult to overcome the inert course and in difficult geopolitical and economic conditions is a strategic threat not only to the economic security of Ukraine, but also to the long-term economic and social development of the country as a whole. In the realities of the modern economy, the leading role belongs to innovation, which involves the introduction and commercialization of advanced technologies, the development of new markets, the generation of knowledge and the effective use of human capital. The article defines the theoretical basis for strategizing the development of the agricultural industry with a key innovation component of the potential effectiveness of its long-term implementation, which will meet the interests of all groups of agents (individual, public, corporate) and national interests. The aim of this study is to justify an understanding of how agricultural enterprises can benefit from innovative technologies using strategic elements. What opportunities do they provide and can these innovative technological advances lay the groundwork for improving our competitive position. Results of work. We propose to use the methodology of primary assessment of economic efficiency, which consists of two main stages: development of strategic priorities for the development of the agricultural sector (analysis of strategic opportunities and threats, strengths and weaknesses; formulation of strategic priorities for the development of the industry; analysis of strategic priorities for the presence of competitive advantages); primary assessment of the economic efficiency of strategic priorities for the development of the agricultural sector (formation of the potential effect of the implementation of each strategic priority; selection of the final goal and formation of a set of Main and additional variables for modeling; conducting a primary assessment of the potential effects of the implementation of strategic priorities; summing up the results of the primary assessment of strategic priorities). Conclusions. As a result, it is necessary to summarize that when developing a strategy for innovative development of the agricultural sector, it is advisable to diagnose the systemic innovation profile of the local innovation space (macrozone) industry, and select potential partners for innovation interaction. An important point is to build relationships with related industries with strong innovation parameters for the overall quality of the macrozone innovation space.
