Одним з найбільш популярних видів туристської діяльності в сучасних умовах є лікувально-оздоровчий туризм. У статті розглянуті тенденції розвитку лікувально-оздоровчого туризму в Україні, динаміка розвитку матеріально-технічної бази Одеського регіонального ринку санаторно-курортних послуг, актуальні питання модернізації інфраструктури санаторно-курортного комплексу регіону. У дослідженні виявлено наявні проблеми і перспективи його розвитку. Представлений авторський підхід до визначення сутності та змісту лікувальнооздоровчого туризму. На основі результатів оцінки потенціалу лікувальнооздоровчого туризму в Одеському регіоні виявлені території з найбільшим його рівнем. Надано рекомендації щодо формування санаторно-курортних зон і лікувально-оздоровчих комплексів.

Одним из самых популярных видов туристской деятельности в современных условиях является лечебно-оздоровительный туризм. В статье рассмотрены тенденции развития лечебно-оздоровительного туризма в Украине, динамика развития материально-технической базы Одесского регионального рынка санаторно-курортных услуг, актуальные вопросы модернизации инфраструктуры санаторно-курортного комплекса региона. В исследовании выявлено существующие проблемы и перспективы его развития. Представлен авторский подход к определению сущности и содержания лечебно-оздоровительного туризма. На основе результатов оценки потенциала лечебно-оздоровительного туризма в Одесском регионе выявлены территории с наибольшим его уровнем. Даны рекомендации по формированию санаторно-курортных зон и лечебнооздоровительных комплексов.

One of the most popular types of tourist activity in modern conditions is health tourism. The subject of the research is health tourism. The aim of the work is to consider the trends in the development of health tourism in Ukraine, the dynamics of the development of the material and technical base of the Odessa regional market of health resort services, topical issues of modernization of the infrastructure of the health resort complex in the region. Methodology. It is proved that in modern conditions the role of medical tourism is growing. At the same time, the medical services market is currently actively developing, its infrastructure is expanding. This type of tourism contributes to the development of health care, the emergence of modern technologies and methods of examination and treatment, as well as advanced training of medical personnel and improved patient care. Modern medical tourism forms a new concept of health care, which creates new opportunities for solving a medical problem. Research result. The study identified the existing problems and prospects for its development. The author's approach to defining the essence and content of health tourism is presented. The features of the creation and functioning of sanatorium-resort complexes in the Odessa region are revealed. The main components of the potential of health-improving tourism have been determined: natural resources, environmental friendliness and infrastructure provision of the territory. It has been substantiated that the most objective and complete assessment of the potential of health tourism is possible when using the index method. Based on the results of assessing the potential of medical and health tourism in the Odessa region, the territories with the highest level have been identified. Recommendations are given on the formation of sanatorium-resort areas and health-improving complexes.
