| Abstract: | We estimated the effect of the various forms and strains of Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner on caterpillars of two generations of Hyphantria cunea Drury. Of the preparations tested, the culture medium lepidocidus and the newl selected strain M-5 suppressed the caterpillar growth most efficiently. Caterpillars of the third stage were more sensitive to bacterial preparations. Feeding caterpillars on different plants (maple or mulberry leaves) did not affect their sensitivity to bacterial preparations. |
