Динаміка розвитку міжнародної торговельної інтеграції в умовах пандемії covid-19

Abstract

У статті досліджено ключові тенденції розвитку торговельної інтеграції в умовах COVID-19. Проаналізовано структуру та динаміку укладання регіональних торговельних угод, як одного з індикаторів розвитку міжнародних торговельно-інтеграційних процесів. Визначено ступінь відкритості економік та його динаміку. Виявлено кількість обмежувальних та лібералізуючих заходів торговельної політики, які країни здійснювали під час пандемії COVID-19. Досліджено, як пандемія вплинула на зміну торговельної політики в межах існуючих інтеграційних об’єднань та деяких країн світу (на прикладі АСЕАН, ЄС, країн Близького Сходу та Північної Африки, Китаю, Колумбії та Білорусії). Визначено вплив пандемії на міжнародну торгівлю. Здійснено прогноз деяких ключових індикаторів розвитку торговельної інтеграції в епоху постCOVID-19.

The article analyzes the key trends in the development of trade integration in the context of COVID 19. The structure and dynamics of concluding regional trade agreements as one of the indicators of the development of international trade and integration processes are analyzed. The degree of openness of economies and its dynamics are determined. The number of restrictive and liberalizing trade policy measures implemented by countries during the COVID-19 pandemic has been identified. It examines how the pandemic has affected trade policy change within existing integration associations and some countries around the world (for example, ASEAN, the EU, the Middle East and North Africa, China, Colombia and Belarus). The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the closure of borders, the cessation of interstate transport links, and a sharp drop in world exports (including services), have provoked serious discussions about further liberalization of international trade and globalization. Definitely fell the pandemic on international trade. The forecast of some key indicators of the development of trade integration in the post-COVID-19 era has been made. Among the main trends in trade integration in the context of COVID-19 can be identified on the one hand strengthening protectionist measures, even within the integration blocs on the other enhanced regional trade relations aimed at restoring economic growth, strengthening supply chains, consolidation in overcoming the effects of the pandemic. Moreover, according to the forecasts of international organizations and their own calculations, starting from 2021-2022, world exports, world gross domestic product will begin to grow gradually, the degree of openness of the economy will reach pre-pandemic levels, the number of concluded regional trade agreements will gradually increase. The question of the transformation of the forms of international trade integration that may be caused by the consequences of COVID remains open 19.
