dc.description.abstractInfluence of optimum and pessimum rearing conditions for caterpillars of the silkwarm of different genotypes оп the phagocytic activity of their hemocytes has been studied. Predominance of hybrids over the basic parenteral races as regards both the indices of the cumulative phagocytic activity of all types of hemocytes and phagocytic activity of macronucleocytes has been revealed. The differences between the races and hybrids became significant under pessimum rearing conditions. Phagocytic activity of hemocytes has been found to characterize the level of non-specific resistance of different silkworm genotypes under optimum and pessimum rearing conditions, and also to serve as the heterosis effect indication.-
