dc.description.abstract | In the article “The influence of forming word picture of the semantics of lingual culture words and sensor vocabularys” the author studies polysemanticity of lingual cultural words tea, coffee, and their derivatives with the purpose of establishing the influence of the specified means on the formation of the word picture, realization of the author’s idea in the work. Tea- or coffee-drinking is presented neither ordinarily nor in the context of a certain national culture, but within the context of esthetical totality of a fiction book. The author pays attention to literary aspect of the ritual of consuming tea and coffee, considers the way it is presented in Ukrainian fiction, in particular, in “Eneida” (1798) by I. P. Kotlyarevsky, comedy drama “Martyn Borulya” (1886) by I. Karpenko-Kariy, novelette “The horses are not guilty” (1912) by M. Kotsyubynskiy, “The cloud” by I. Nechuy-Levytsky (published in 1874). Structural-semantic and lingual-stylistic organization of the analyzed works emphasizes contextual convertibility of tea-/coffee drinking. As the author noticed, the specified lingual culture words demonstrate the ability to find themselves among the key words of a fiction book, acquire additional semantic meanings, because they are followed by various anthropologic concepts, namely: dishonor, narrowness, cultural ignorance, self-satisfaction, irritation, calmness, virtue, etc. the defined textual phenomena relevantly combine with sensor vocabulary, greatly influence the creation of textual semantics, productive formation of the world picture. The author proves that drinking beverages represented in the texts from the point of view of literary critic is semiotized situation working for the realization of artistic idea, for the formation of a literary personage characterization, becomes an important active crossing of the text revealing key semantic knots. | - |
